Just been searching through some boxes that I have never unpacked and took a few cd's out and put on an Acustic album of Bon Jovi's hits on. Great album by the way but too many memories. So that's a no go in future.

Which album does it for you?

I don't think there's a whole album that does it for me in that way, but I find it hard to listen to 'Broken Strings' by James Morrison - it was around at a hard time and the lyrics were almost too apt.

REMs 'Everybody Hurts' reminds me of someone special who died. Again, it was played a lot at that time.

We both liked the band and there are too many memories now associated with them that's why the album did it to me

I'd have that with one band if hubby and I split - lots of memories of seeing them together over the years and think he has everything by them, including lots of rare and bootleg stuff that I spent ages finding. Anything by them would make me think of him

That's what did me, but a song that makes me smile everytime is Sweet child of mine, because when my little princess was born the sis in law was in vegas and bought her a t-shirt with it on

The later Pink Floyd depresses me, but still like the early stuff. Granchester meadows is my fave, reminds me of summer days with the old gang down by the river in Shoreham, Kent.
