So certainly doesn't contradict Cameron's figures if 300,000 of them are a recent EU immigrants that makes it about 41% of them EU citizens or about 6.5% of the total claimants. | |||

If I remember correctly from something I'd read in the newstatesman,i think tax credits are the one benefit that EU immigrants exceed their % in, it wasn't much maybe 1 or 2%. Ie they made up 16% of the workforce but 18% of the tax credits. Personally I don't think non UK citizens should receive any UK benefits at all regardless of wether they pax tax, work, don't work!.... I'd fully expect that to be the same vice versa | |||
