Stay strong, these type of anniversaries should make you focus your mind to making the most of YOUR time.

RIP to those loved ones.

Gareth Hunt passed away same day in 2007 I know this does not make amends for your losses but he was someone I always respected as a Coffee drinker.

Hope you have happy thoughts X

thank you everyone for your kind words xx means a lot to me. I do remember the great times I had with both my Dad and father in law, the stories they had and loved the smiles their grandchildren put on their faces. My dad sadly only got to see my son twice when he was little, because of the distance and he passed away when I was 6 months pregnant with the twins, but at least he knew about them. I have a wonderful keepsake from the last day of our first visit back to Canada after my son was born back at Christmas 2005,a video clip of my Dad singing "little red caboose" to my then 3 month old son, a song that he used to sing to me when I was little. He asks to see grandpa's train son all the time. And my son, who got to know his grand dad a lot more, understands that he is up in heaven with grandpa now and talks to them a lot. I will continue to make sure my kids know just how special both their grandfathers were xx
