So my mum is known in our family for her naivety and the random but hilarious stories of her life, her adventures and the questions she asks!

She is 76! So imagine our surprise when one family dinner party, she suddenly announced she had heard about 'blowjobs'! This was quickly followed by her asking the following:

Today's treat from mum tonight...there we are sitting in a restaurant which thankfully was busy and noisy...when out of the blue she suddenly asks:

'Have you ever bought a sex toy'?

Ffs! I refused point blank to discuss sex toys with my mother!

So she says...'Well they were showing them on daytime TV dear and I thought it was very interesting!!!!'

When my mum met my dad she told him she was the same age as him, which was 5 yrs younger than her actual age! She didn't even own up when they got married or when all her kids were born... The only time she came clean was when my brother was joining the police and they interviewed her... She thought she might go to prison so she owned up finally

The best thing my Nan ever said was when she found out my auntie was a lesbian

Everybody knew, it was just one of those things nobody talked about because we all figured when she wanted it to be common knowledge she would tell us

Well one day she did, my Nan was ok with it she was just a little confused as to what turned her gay, she was in her 80s at the time and a little behind the times

Anyway we were talking and I tried to explain people don't turn gay its just the way you are, you can't help who your attracted to its just in your genes

To which my Nan looked at me and said "don't be silly, I used to wear jeans when I as young and I'm not a lesbian"

My mum and I were watching telly a while back and I can't remember what on earth we were watching, some crime drama, but someone was talking about a dominatrix.
