When I was a teenager in the late 70s early 80s I used to have sex with lots of men until I got married, only now its not as good because I don't fancy men the way I did then because they don't look the same and the ones I do fancy don't usualy fancy me because I am older and fatter.

When you see an old person you forget they were once young and I think some people are disappointed that they cant meet better looking people like they used to, I am also going by my experience of meeting certain older men and what they have said.

Interesting one and perhaps one I should answer from my single profile as it relates to my experiences on it, but here goes. My tastes have completely changed .... when I came on here as a single female I met young fit black men, had relationships with them, was seen out, etc. I don't have a problem with meeting 'better looking people' if I want to ... and I don't think anyone does, to be honest. I don't think its them lowering their standards .... but then again, I don't think I am bad looking or less than, so maybe its a confidence thing too. Now, since I met my partner here, much closer in age to me, my tastes have changed again .... I have no doubt I could meet anyone I want to, as could anyone on here ... I think its about attitude of mind. Not sure if that makes any sense

When I first met one or two young men for nsa I howled with laughter because I *WAS* meeting the exact same guys I was dating 30 years ago, in fact I saw more six packs than ever!!

The difference is when I was young I pretty much only had relationships with my peers, and as you get older it gets much, much harder to find someone worth having a relationship with.

When I was single I was always so excited when I found a guy who wanted sex with me!

These days I find it easier to pull the same guys as I'm less shy than I was. But I married the best one.

I agree that people think that 'old' people hatched out around the corner yesterday or that they had a lobotomy at 50 and can't understand anything.

I'm the same , bright, bubbly, reasonable, fun loving person i've always been. Just older, fatter and far more discerning.

Just don't be sending me any old fat blokes to meet.

When i met jay he was already "older" i never new him young. Ive seen lots of photos and sometimes he doea things and i can definetly see the young man he was

I know what you mean. I had a definite type. Now i still have preferences nut have learned through experience that the type are often all about aesthetics not skill.

Do you think there's a difference between men who will meet older women though as opposed to women meeting older men? Or is there equal numbers? I think a lot of it is to do with sexual confidence which I have far more of now than 20 years ago.

i think its equal numbers but i also know the reasons i meet younger guys isnt the same as some others reasons
