What even is this?.... I'm super pissed off.. I have at least 3 hot meets lined up... But mother nature is really getting on my nerves... On off on off ect ect... Not going into detail, but want to express my disdain at this situation.. I have a free pass to go and play and I can't because of this situation.. any other ladies experienced this and how did you cope.. I'm only 36..

Sometimes U.K

Does seem young for your peri but I would suggest you check out some menopause forums for advice and support, I found them very helpful.

Most of all I would advise not getting fretful as it doesn't help, ohh and order some starflower capsules to help with the flushes.

xx

Fabville

Maybe go to your gp? You can get blood taken to check your hormone levels. There are other reasons for eratic periods.

Maybe hormone replacement would help you.

"Have you been diagnosed as being Peri menopause? "

No diagnosis, as there is no clear cut yes/no for the peri it's just a period of time from 12 months to 5 years before the actual menopause.. Not sure if HRT is available at this "stage". X

After nearly 6 years suffering I considered HRT but the research I read about was more negatives than positives. Am glad I didn't succumb to it and suffered naturally!

consider asking your practice for the mini pill so you can stop your periods early or delay them..might even help them get regular again..i have no idea of your health...but this might be an option x

Easter just around the corner!

I have a sneaky suspicion I'm peri menopausal, when I went to my doctor regarding something else I mentioned about it and asked about the test to confirm it. He basically said don't worry and just go along with it. I think I need to see a lady doctor

That's a good option for everyone who wants to stop their periods, as long as they can take pills at the same time every day without problems. Better than the combined pill for menstrual problems.
