If you are either of these, can you tell me what I should reasonably expect to pay to have a new shower fitted? Just the box - nothing else.

"Replacing an existing shower with a new unit, which we already have."

ok .... well if the kw of the shower doesn't excceed the rating of the existing cable and the position of the pipe fitting for the water feed doesn't need to be altered at all, and the bathroom circuit is rcd protected and has a suitable means of isolation then about an hour to fit and do the required testing....... anywhere from £40 upwards

It depends on a few things, are the services in the same position as the old one, is it tiled in hard to get tiles if they need to be moved, if so it's probably easier to swap the shower for one that matches your original services position.

Straight swap, same shower for same shower is about an hour's work,£50-70

If it's like for like then it's an hours work so here I would charge €70 standard if I didn't gave to travel to far. If it's a different model and pipes etc need moving it's anything up on €150 so that let's say £45 to £120 ish. As a rule get three prices and if you can use a plumber used by a friend

£300 and 16 cups of tea, oh and you need a new fuse box and rcd another grand, plus all the cable is under requirement so another 100,your pipes are corroding and joints leaking so repipe another 200 stopcock is seized another 70 and some tiles cracked taking the old one off.

Unfortunately the one's you have are discontinued so retile bathroom will cost another 1000.

Just give me a 500 quid deposit for materials and I will send one of the lad's round next week to do it all.
