Hi, It seems to me that part of being successful on a site such as ours is sometimes but not always dictated by how appealing we look to others.

[ Our first impressions are usually the profiles we write and the photo's we post on them ?]

so, I wondered - if there had been any posts on the forum that discuss things like easy metabolism tips and tricks, nutrition, stretching, excersize and related topics...I haven't seen any, and the question is, is this something other lifestylers might like to read up on?

I'm just starting to make changes to my fitness etc, so I'm no expert at all.

well my plan is fairly simple for shedding some timber - I'm not looking for a rippling 6 pack, in fact there's lots of reasons for not wanting to acquire that look...yes there are hoards of women who will only be attracted to that but for me personally I don't want that and it would be unrealistic at 44 to try and maintain that look...plus I love good food and enjoy cooking too much

The plan

I'm getting up extra early, doing some excersize before any food, eating a healthy meal for the first meal of the day, in my case, rolled oats+sultanas+ some sliced banana's and lots of water through the day.

That's my starting point and I hope to progress to longer sessions of excersize combined with cutting out Bread, Sugar and Salt.

It is all about calories, so to establish your maintenance, write down everything you eat for a week then take the total and lower the calories by 700 or so, usually being at 1400kcal will get the results and lots of cardio. Good luck.

Sultanas are high in natural sugar . Try 35 g oats with fat free natural yog chopped banana and raspberries or Apple
