Quadrophenia II

Plans been announced that they are making a sequel to Quadrophenia,set 40years later,so presumably the mid 80s. Many of the original characters return with Monkey(Toyah)married to another main character and as well as working in the sex industry,her and her husband are swingers. Wonder if they do any research? The original is a classic, so not sure this is a good idea or not. Looking forward to it though.

Quadrophenia is one of my favourite films ..

I did hear they were doing a sequel so I'll look forward to seeing how it turns out

Great film but can't see a sequel being anything other than a huge flop. Hope I am proved wrong.

As a biker I preferred the Rockers in the original. I am, was and always will be in to Rock/metal and was never a fan of parkas, scooters, The Who etc

I'm pretty sure that Toyah Wilcox did a TV sex advice show in the 90s. So in a sense she has already done the research.

Maths not a strength of yours?

Original set in early 60s so surely 40 years on would make it the noughties!!

I'm still looking forward to watching it though

Nope. Was in the Mirror and on facebook. Direct quotes from Toyah. Filming begins in London this summer
