Trying to find stuff for my boy to do, quasar was closed, which sucks as I wanted to go shoot some people to do.

Swimming gets boring quick.

Then we found a skate park with scooter rental. Under £20 and I don't have to listen to, I wanna play on PlayStation, until 4 o clock.

Win

Why not both go cycling? Lots of nice places to cycle to near St Albans, especially if you stick along the Grand Union.

Did you join in? I liked stuff I could do with my children not have to sit and watch, which is boring. I can't join in now so it's swimming, cinema or museums for us.

Yeah that's something to look into for the future. I don't own a bike and I think the brakes knackered on his bmx.

You've a Costco near you. Buy from there, good warranties and may be cheaper.

Hell no, I'm to old to be riding around on scooters, besides I'd make the other kids feel inferior with my awesome scooting skills.

Although they also have a climbing wall here which is looking tempting.

We went to Museum last holiday, I forget the name of the place, little village, has two museums. Ones about the history of the village. The others packed out with all sorts of animals.

You know I never thought of that. I thought you had to be a member and it only sold food.

I have to get out more.

You do have to be a member but it's only around £20. It sells more than food.

Thanks for that, I'll definitely have a look into it.

Seems scooters are the in thing for skateparks at the moment.

Used to love going with my BMX when i was younger.

Make sure he wears a brain bucket!

Wouldn't let him in without one, luckily they do rentals. If he gets serious about it I'll buy him one.

Never had local parks like that when I was a kid. Closest we got was rollerskating down the biggest hill we could find and trying not to get hit by the cars at the junction.

Looking back, I'm impressed to have made it to 31.

Good to hear. I used to go to a big indoor park in Leeds.

Wasn't allowed to ride without a helmet.

Glad to see he's enjoying the skatepark
