lol yeah .... but say if you arranged a meet then was told by a friend ohhhh he went to prison for x years for X crime would that put you off

I may want to check his verifications to make sure he's not a timewaster and other people said he was 'not to be missed'.

There is actually a chap in our village who is affectionately known as 'the local murderer' as he did time for murder....dunno if he's a swinger though

There's not a lot I do take seriously to be serious...er.

But there is no way you can check someone criminal record (or lack of for that matter) and no way any website can force people to make it known.

If you did find something out about someone then it simply comes down to making your own call on it.

Well it depends on the crime, and like others have said, you'll probably never find out about peoples past unless they volunteer it.

But since you do know about this bloke, and based on his offences, he has some seriously low morals. You are right to keep well away - if he treats other women (and children!) like that, what's he going to do to you.

He must be a real charmer to draw in all these girls/women - but so was Fred West apparently!

There's nothing really that swinging/dating/social networking sites can do - once he's done his time he's a free man again to socialise with whoever he likes - online or in person. I guess he must be on the sex offenders register though, with convictions like that. Not sure if he should be on some sort of licence as well? Defnintely report him to the police if you think he's reoffending.

Given the nature of his crimes, and the way he is behaving now, it's quite clear he's not 'reformed'.

When i went to the Austalian Embassy to apply for my work visa i was asked if i had a criminal record , apparantly "why , do i still need one ?" wasnt the answer they were looking for !
