I wonder how many people sit at the computer screen like a lemon, ( like me ) in hopes some one will make the first move due to nerves or other reasons ?

It's wondering about things like that which lead no-where fast.....

You are far better casting off any inhibition about making first contact.....

I know there is a lot of perceived negativity about how opening messages from single guys can receive a hostile response or simply get ignored...

But hey if that occasionally happens its a pretty good indication the person you contacted wasn't worth meeting anyway....

I say don't be a lemon.... go for it..... what's the worst that can happen...

So you've lost nothing, but gained the opportunity to move on and focus on someone who does take an interest in you.
