A world of my own

Why is more acceptable for women to explore with women but not for men to explore with men?

Makes me quite sad when I read comments over and over to that effect. Or that they don't feel they can do it in clubs unless it's a bi event.

I had a similar thread a while back about this. I would guess that a lot of people (both men and women) find the idea, or sight of 2 men together quite repulsive but 2 women together 'acceptable'. I suppose its the same in the street, you often see women holding hands, and nobody bats an eye, but 2 men and its the most obscene thing ever.

It doesn't bother me 1 bit (although i am bi lol) but i wouldn't play with another guy at a club unless it was a bi night as i would likely get barred (although i would get barred as I'm fat and ugly first)

I blame culture club for this.. If boy George and the drummer would have come on as a couple in the 80's. We wouldn't have this problem

But we did get some great songs

Personally I think clubs should be open to everybody every night, I don't see why we need bi nights, BBW night, bmfc nights etc, why can't everybody just mix and play with who they like

Surely as adults we can cope being in a club with a single man or a big women without being offended because it's not what we are looking for

I do agree though it is more acceptable for women to be bi than men, I've heard loads of women who are bi themselves say bi men are gross, on another thread a couple with a bi female said 'yak' to men kissing but women kissing is good

It's ok not to like something there's no need to be rude maybe it's why there are so many straight bi guys on here

Ah - but is it your neighbour's back door that you knock on?

Exactly. We are all adult and enjoy what we enjoy. Why is there so much need for a label?

A swingers club should be one place people feel free to be themselves without judgement

female homosexuality has always been more accepted than the male version. Think back a hundred years when two women could live together as "friends" their whole life without ever marrying a man whereas men who were gay would find themselves in jail or institutions. Nowadays it is probably driven to some extent by porn. The majority of porn consumption is by men and to most men two women will be infinitely hotter than two men. Being a bisexual female cassies less stigma like being male bisexual does

That doesn't make it right.

I'm relatively straight. Ive played with women but my preference is men. My view is accepted and people move on. However if a guy said something similar he would be slated and folk demanding he change his orientation to Bi. It's wrong.

Exploring sexuality is healthy

It's true there is a double standard.
