I probably won't be able to afford it but have been looking at either an A class Mercedes. The 160 Sport or an Audi A1. What car would you fancy if you were looking to change?

I really like Lexus and quite fancy one at some point.

If we didn't have loads of work to do on our house i would of got the new civic type R - they are mental

Chances are I'll probably stick with my current civic for a few years, Honda are bringing out a 1.5 turbo vtec engine for the 2017 engine, which sounds great fun so will be looking into them when they are realised.

They are also doing a 1.0 turbo to compete against the ecoboost 1.0, which are rapid little motors for a 1.0 at 120ish bhp, so the 1.5 turbo vtec at 201bhp should be awesome.

Figaros weren't built in the 70's. They were only built for one year around 1990 I believe

Just bought a C-class, couldn't get the C=class sport as none in country, so settled for the SE

Any car right? Jaguar XJ13 (not that they'd let me have it), or an XK-SS. Failing that, I'll take an F-Type. And chuck in a Lambo Murcielago SV while you're at it.

Seriously. Why are people picking Audis?!

Because celebrities told them too in rap songs. Complete devoid of any interesting design features like most german cars.

I own my dream car, but it's coming off the road this September for the full restore that it deserves so I'll be buying something cheap as chips for the winter, and I don't have an ego to massage, so I'm thinking about an old rover 25 to get me through, no point spending big money on a car that I'm only going to use for 6-8 months is there

I did the same with a 75, ended up loving it. So smooth, powerful and had every extra you could need. What was supposed to be for 6 months turned in to a year, which turned into 18 months as didn't want to part with it!

Kia's are driven by people who have no interest in cars. There is more to buying a car than just price. I have seen better deals than that to be had for new cars in the past week. If it was purely a financial question I would have got a new Nissan Pulsar for about £112 per month.

My comment was aimed at the OP. As for Audi's being "the most unreliable car on sale" according to Which they came in 15th out of 32 manufacturers, with a new car rating of 93% (the best, Lexus was 96%).

By the way, I don't own an Audi

If you want an Audi check out jct600 In Sheffield I recently bought a car from them. It's a couple years old really low milllage and the customer service was second to non. I found going north cars were slightly cheaper than here.

Also Audi currently have a used car event on so you may get the car you want much cheaper if it's a year or so old.

Plenty of second handers about at basement prices though.

People assume you can't get parts or they are expensive.

I've had mine knocking 2 years and never had any issues with reliability or parts and servicing no more expensive than other places.

We see all the motoring programs wet their knickers over the latest uber-expensive super-cars, and tell us how wonderful they are.

But in all honesty, within the confines of what the law allows on our roads, there isn't a single thing that one of those Buggatti Vayronicle thingies does that my ancient and trust Zafira can't do better!

And a Zafira has room in the back for me to get laid in!!!

My new car of choice is a Jaguar XE R-Sport, I took delivery of it a little over 3 weeks ago, and what a lovely drive it is.
