Single guys and crap messages

Since coming out last year, I've been receiving a lot of messages from single males, to the point where I've now had to block them, as they were predominantly, for want of a more PC expression, utter shit - I mean, I was literally getting tens of messages to the tune of 'hi u ok wanna meet n fuck.

It makes me wonder, is this complete social ineptitude a 'male' thing, or is it simply the sheer volume of single males that makes it stand out so much? I have also had equally terrible messages from couples, far fewer from females though they almost never message first.

It also made me wonder if the reason so many guys are on here, are because they lack the social skills to succeed in these romantic/erotic pursuits in the real world, and just looking at the numbers, what does this say about the modern male overall?

I removed my filters ages ago, I don't receive many messages from guys most are a single line the odd one has more depth,

the messages I receive from ladies and couples are pretty similar, I suppose they have more choice who to message and likely think they don't need to try.

Not had a message from a tv/ts so couldn't comment.

I'm guessing though that single guys can send out lots of long messages and get no reply. I wonder if eventually they get demoralised and get to the stage they just send - hi! And maybe 1 out of 50 times they'll still get a reply.

There are also plenty of single men who send very well put together messages. They will always stand out and do better here, in my opinion.

I honestly think that all types of profiles send shit messages, and great ones, but there's a lot more men so they get judged a bit more unfairly, in terms of numbers.

Today I've had two messages that are like this:

"Fancy meeting my wife"

"Face pics?"

I'm not slating the senders, though the first one made me laugh as I wondered if the wife existed and I have no public pics

It's not all about the first message as we met a guy who's first communication was probably three lines...He did, however, have a profile that informed, intrigued and amused us...With some great pics too. Which ever way you approach it, the profile or the message but preferably both are what catches our eye...All we'll say is put some effort in and reap the rewards.

It might be that they don't understand the site. Some people think 'swingers' are sex mad and live breathe and eat (??!) sex.

They want a fuck. They don't want chit chat or they'd be on a dating site. They mail asking for a fuck.

True, but you can still display yourself as somewhat articulate and interesting in just a couple of well written sentences - manage that, and failure to establish contact is most likely do to lack of enthusiasm on the part of the recipient, and I doubt rewriting the Iliad for them would change that.
