.........this month since the sex pistols performed out side London. They went on to play Manchester on June 4th 1976. It was the summer that started in March and finished in October. I wore Brutus jeans adidas trainers and tee shirt. I long with 4 other mates went to the lesser freetrade hall to watch the pistols. We stuck out like sore thumbs and the gig lasted all of 20 minutes before the hall went schizoid. All for a 75p ticket!

certainly best summer, weather wise, that I remember. Went to Knebworth to see Rolling Stones top the bill, along with Lynryd Skynryd, 10CC and several others that have faded from memory.

Ahhhhhhh. ...The summer of 76. Water fights till 10 'o clock at night. Burning my feet on the pavements and getting melted tarmac on the soles of my feet. Spending all day playing outside, not a care in the world.... such happy memories xxxx Suzi

One of the best years ever. I was 19, shagging around like my dick was about to fall off, a summer like no other, the best music in the charts, no mobiles or Internet, motorbiking in just a tshirt an jeans, not a care in the fuckin world accept for my great parents.

Oh to go back in time.
