Yep !!! Old contacts etc I've contacted face book and what'sap and heightened security settings and have nothing personal linked to fb . I don't like it at all

Frisky - I think they mean the "People you might know" part.

There's been a couple show up on mine before I~ switched it off.

Ones who never have had any contact with in anyway but there profile pics on here and there match!!

One of the newer settings of Facebook is that if someone searches for you (they would need your full name or telephone number if you have one linked to your account obviously), that person appears in your suggested friends/people you may know list.

For the security conscious, it goes without saying you should never give out your full name and/or telephone number.

My number has never been on Facebook,my phone probably linked me with the people I spotted.

I have once

She sent me a message saying its a fab day and I clicked straight away

We have spoken on Facebook and here it's great to chat to someone away from fab but we like our fab life staying as that and they are the same so it's all good

We don't meet as we look for different things but chatting is good X

Yes, i thought that was only via a phone link, or maybe a common connection - you both have one persons number? I removed my mobile connection to facebook way back before I joined here and never got anything suspicious since, but if they start using whatsapp I'm doomed.

it's whatsapp where i find their facebook page.

i've never had any phone number on my facebook in all the years i've used it.

I've recently discovered a couple of friends on fb are on here. We've spoken about discretion both ways and it's all good.

I had admired their profile before knowing it was them though!
