I've concluded...

After several days from work with a bad injury how very bored I am. Shite on day time telly and I mean shite. So I have concluded how much hard work it is to stay at home and do naff all (this isn't against those that are stay at home mothers or are genuinly off sick this is for those work shy shitesters)

making bread

reading

mending stuff

listening to music

you tube (good for a laf)

catching up with family, phone, email etc.

trying on all my clothes and experimenting with new combinations (thanks gok)

trying on all my shoes

reading cookery books and making myself hungry

making mischief on fab

wish I could say picking up a paintbrush and decorating but can't seem to get the motivation up

painting with watercolours, sketching

bit a ing, diggin, planting

play with my pussy

not hard work at all

What do others get up to, or maybe I shouldn't ask?

bad back is the worst.. as for Daytime tv.. I just record stuff in the evenings to watch in the day while I work, and do my housework..

Or if I am up to date and have nothing to do I turn tv off.. everything off.. stick enigma on the ipod and read a good book.

Bad backs are terrible..

I rarely get the chance to sit and do nothing , as a result when i do get the chance i'm no good at it , even on holiday .I have been laid up injured before and it is unbearable , endless dvd's cos daytime telly is mind numbing and hi-fi in other room , thank fuck for porn lol

hope you feel better soon janelle, dont know what your back problem is but when i had sciatica i found a shiatsu massage way better than the conventional medicine, cured in one session what a doctor couldnt in 6 weeks! xx

Same here, when i went to turkey with the kids on holiday, couldnt resist tidying the room every day, cannot relax at all, hate being home as i cant afford a holiday now anyway, do the garden, listen to music, even that gets boring after a while, would rather be in work. In fact at christmas when i was off the day job, i picked up a shift every day in the pub where i work part time

I get bored very easily and have to be doing things. On holiday I always clean the apartment, but thats because Im a clean and tidy freak rather than being bored. I can lie and relax, as long as I have a book. Work wise I like to be busy all of the day and I have been thinking of moving on from my job because its not fast enough for me. I re-trained to do this job, so put quite a bit of time in to learn, but now im bored and want to be doing something more "gutsy".

i have to agree with janelle on this...it's one thing staying home if you're able to get on with all those chores that you need to catch up with, but when you're home sick or injured and you can't do anything, you actually hope to get well to return to work.

i am sooo bored this week, but i'm never good at being sick anyhoo!
