Don't try and walk and txt whilst in a field that has had cows in it

And shorts and sandals don't mix well with nettles either

What other things should you know better than doing, but end up doing anyway ?

Never walk past a nettle, don't even look at a nettle. Swear they sense you're about to go past and grow just so they can inflect hellish pain as you brush past.

Your ok with cows unless you have your pooch . Or they have calves with them.

If they start following you let the pooch off its the dog they will chase and I promise you your dog can run faster than a cow , but you cant!

Lol , country boy here and been chased a few times .

We have a stick by the back door.

On every walk we take, every single one, whenever we come across nettles, brambles, dodgy-looking cows, water of questionable depth, I remember that stick.

Maybe one day I'll remember to actually take it with us...
