Bloody brilliant, by far the best x men film to date and probably top three marvel film.

Never seen one. Possibly this week's boxsetting activity is now covered.

You may want to save yourself from X3-Last Stand and Wolverine-Origins.

But don't forget to include Deadpool for some background X-Men continuity

Raynes Park

Not sure why critics have battered it. It's more enjoyable than B'S and CA:CW

I love the X-Men films, however I wasn't too impressed with the last few X-men if am honest. The only good thing about Apocolypse is that it provides further information to the whole story of characters.

I have enjoyed the last couple, but its as if the first triology have been completely dis-regarded

Not the first three, just the last one where they butchered several classic story arcs. It was the only one not directed by singer and it's considered that the days of future past allowed them to wipe the slate clean regarding the x men canon and to simply disregard xmen 3

SW London

We took the teens last night and the unanimous decision was it was the worst ... villain was cardboard and lots of loose ends. Really not good

Really?

I thought it was really good.

What I would say tho is.

Apocalypse has always been my favourite xmen character and I have been waiting for him to be in a film.

While I thought the film wad good and he was a good baddie.

He wasn't the all powerful immortal lunatic that I was hoping.

He has always been the baddest of the bad and physically imposing.

X men alone never managed to defeat him, they needed, cable and bishop, plus the combined powers of all the bad mutants to help.

Even then I don't recall them defeating him.

He was actually an alien from another dimension if I recall.

That said both I and my uber geek of a daughter loved it.

Dunfermline

I am waiting for the fights to return to Marvel so that they can make it properly.

Fantastic four as well.

We now have a marvel universe where they cannot say the word "mutant" in case Fox sues them and we have Quicksilver both dad and alive at the same time depending on whether he is in the Marvel or Mutant universe

I actually prefer them treated as separate universes

Think they should do that for the comics too

And yep, I want Marvel to have all its properties back

Watched it last night with Chorley girl .. Some parts are brilliant , some good .. Some are just bad on an epic scale .. Saying that it is setting up the introduction of a few new characters quite subtly ..

Soo much more could have been done ..

My rating is 7/10 ( due to the hot totty in it .. 3 in particular !! )
