Do you give up anything for Lent and if so, what?

Me? Stupidly I gave up ice cream and guess what.... all the girls on the course I'm on had MacDonalds toffee ice cream at lunch time

and anyway unless you happen to be religious (without going into the issue of swinging being abhorrent to most religions) .. why would you?
