Sing us a songgggggg!!!

Had one of my little chicklets over for the afternoon and she was tired so I sang to her - Piano Man by Billy Joel of all things lol.

It has a line in it that goes

"It's sad and it's sweet

and I knew it complete

when I wore a younger mans clothes"

She asked later after her sleep... "Who was he?"

Who was who?" I asked back.

"You know mommah, THAT man - the young one what had the clothes you wore in the song! Did it used to be my daddy?" Awww so sweet!!!

as babies i used to sing dream a little dream every time they went to bed....now, if they're fraught and crying i sing that and it silences them immediately.....pays dividends

I think its the fact they're grown up and mother singing anything in public is cringeworthy! If she gets in bed with me when she stays over my girl will still ask me to sing the ugly duckling though....

we do karaoke here ... good for partys and letting off steam having a good old sing song ,, i do blondi x lol

I loves singing but the bigger kids video me on karaoke and put em on utube and then put the links in the forums and then everyone takes the piss and then i get upset and want ta sing more and then .................Miss miss they pickin on me xx

I used to sing Lemonheads- Being Around to my daughter , she still asks me to sing it now at parties
