So, I've been on holiday back in the good old US of A for a week now and I have made a few observations...

1- Donald Trump has a better chance of winning the presidency than I previously thought.

2- I've heard more about bathrooms than I ever want to hear again in my life.

3- I've gained about 12 lbs. and will start a new exercise regime when I return.

The weather has been awesome, though!

Number 3 - 12 lbs. isn't life altering but its enough to make me wonder what the hell I've been eating. I thought about it and decided I didn't want to give it much further thought.

Yeah, we never used to have legislation either until someone got all pissed off at a kid in school over it...

It started as one state, now its national news, other states have their own opinions, and the federal government has stepped in. Too bad we can't focus on real issues anymore.

I told Marc that he and I should just switch which bathrooms we use. Its seriously tempting.

I gather that the cops have not really worked out how to police it yet. They are a bit reluctant to post toilet guards to check whether a potential visitor has a cock. I can see that it might be potentially awkward.

Hi all. I'm in NJ. The weather here has been horrible. Rainy and cool. So Courtney , your lucky!

As for the weight I fight the fight. Uggh.

Donald Trup is scary but so are the rest. Tough to choose the lesser evil. I thought about moving to Australia.

The government made the mess with the bathrooms. I believe, to distract us all from Donald Trump. I can't believe if you fully look a woman using a ladies room or a man using a men's room anyone would give issue. Now if ya walk in the ladies room with a bead , come on... Really?? Is this an issue.? I don't see it at all. Non issue. It's bs.

nice to hear you are enjoying the states and yes some have very strong views over their depending on which state you visit.

As someone has previously mentioned I also find NY is getting more dirty and it simply is just too busy for me.

I prefer the West, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana etc and simply love to travel west.

Spent many years skydiving in Deland and done a fair bit eastern travel when at Deland but definitely prefer the West USA

I guess it depends on what street and where you visit, all cities have good and bad areas as you will know so well.

Even the likes of Vegas, L.A., San Fran have dodgy areas and terrible litter problems as does sadly Hawaii where crime and homeliness is growing worse each year
