Watermarking pics

I see lots of people getting their pics stolen and used elsewhere so I thought I'd find some way to help.

Go to watermark.ws, it's free and easy. Upload your pic and you can add a watermark text saying anything you want. Save the new pic and upload to fab, hopefully should stop the scumbags. Your welcome x

"I've just added one with watermarks to my profile and was approved,"

Maybe for now but it will be removed and you will get a warning about it. Read the photo rules.

Unless you can get around it by not having a site watermark just make sure the site you posted doesnt add there own wm aswell

I'll see if it gets taken down,

I've done a bit of research on this apparently ws like Twitter, Facebook etc have interlectual rights once u upload them and sell your pics to make money. So if this site is doing the same I'd be careful what you all upload who knows where you cummed on face might appear

It isn't.

It is fine to put your fab username across your photos. I do it, Ruggers knows about it and it is all good

It is other website watermarks which aren't allowed, so if your pic has a watermark from another site it COULD look like you have taken it from that web page rather than it being your own pic.

"Would be useful if watermarking wasn't against the rules!!!"

It is allowed to watermark your own pics, you just can't upload pics from this or other sites that already has a watermark on them

"Can watermarks not be photoshopped ?"

Yes, but why would you want to add a watermark from another site just so the pic will be rejected by the pic mods?

I was referring to removing them ?

North West

Yup they can, generally it's not worth the effort.

I've had a few restoration jobs, where I've removed physical stamps, tears, I can't see why it wouldn't be possible.

Central

It depends upon the complexity and extent of the watermark I'd say, in response to whether it could be exited out.

Of a body is partly.covered in the mark it would be more noticeable if edited out than say part of a background wall
