For speaking out about the lack of intimacy in a relationship.

Its certainly got the nation talking which can only be a good thing.

Think youve missed the point.. lack of intimacy wasn't down to her finding her husband unattractive its down to lack of Libido. Sex with a stranger wont make it come back..

She knew her libido was going/gone and made all kinds of excuses for it not to happen. She then said 'go and have an affair'

So if he'd done what she said and had gone off for sex then he wouldn't be?

I do think that a lot of the time these sort of 'you go have your fun without me' comments are a passive way of finding out if the other half will 'cheat'

11 years they have been married,, no flaws in the strength of their relationship. He just feels that he doesnt need sex for it to work and is happy to go without so long as it means they stay together

As a woman she knew something was up, and its not something you can just fix over night. She felt the pressure to try and address the situation by giving him an option to satisfy his needs.

He felt disgruntled that after 11 years she would even suggest that he could stray..

It works for some couples to live in an open relationship.

If i was in Saira's position i think id feel bad that i was holding back on sex and id probs say to my husband (if i had one lol) go an have sex with others..

Id HATE that i said it, and yes id probs be crushed if he did it, but whats the alternative,,, leave a perfectly good relationship just because i failed as a woman to enjoy sex... or have him cheat on me?

Seems an odd way to react to this i wonder what reaction you would have if the man came in and started saying i dont want to participate in certain things in the relationship. in fact i will remember this if i ever get married again cant wait
