What do people on here class as a lot of money?

Was just sat here and its coming up to rent day and that time of the month when all my bills go out etc,, and then i realise i dont have much left (still working on a way to grow a money tree)

Do people value £10 as a lot of money, or is it more like £100? I'll be honest that when im feeling flush that it wouldnt cross my mind to spend £10 on Dunelm Mill cuttlerly or M&S butter (haha) however toward the end of the month i re class that original £10 as a lot of money.

ok as a child you thought it was a lot, how about as an adult.. although since its you,, being called an adult is questionable

money has no value to me, it is a necessity....as long as my children are warm, clothed and fed....i am content.

the only thing i value is health and happiness

When I was the Op's age (yes, I can still remember that far back) we struggled with a very low income and every pound was a lot of money.

My other half was virtually working for nothing (no minimum wage or tax credits in those days) just to get a foot hold in his chosen career with a well known British Music Newspaper, I was in further education in order to enter my chosen career and we both had part time jobs as well.....

So in answer to the Op's question, I class anything in my pocket or purse as a lot of money and a blessing.

I think theres allways things to spend your money on with house and family and its lovely when you can spash out and spoil yourself not just the kids now and again. Even if just nice bath oils or nice things to eat dont have to cost lots. ..money come and go so easy 5 punds is alot when theres not alot around. xx
