walthamstow

Once you've lived in London nowhere else matches up. People have the wrong idea about London,it's really just a city made up of villages but fantastic villages and all different......love it x

Central

I'm unsure - many great ones. I'd like warmer winter weather, so maybe Plymourh, which is interesting and with a great location.

I've lived in London for years but prefer a healthier environment. Newcastle is wonderful, if it were just a little warmer in winter. I like to grow semi-exotic plants outdoors, so a few cities can't provide what I need.

Nottingham.

I'm biased as its my hometown but I've lived in London when I was younger and live too close to Brum for comfort now. I've been to pretty much every city in the country. Every time I go home it's amazing how vibrant and downright fun and sexy the place is. Sure it has some issues but I've never met anyone who didn't have a good night out there.

It's no good going out on a pub crawl to get pissed though. The pubs are that far apart, you've sobered up by the time you reach the next one

You must have been in the suburbs. They're almost wall to wall in the centre.

I'm surprised Berlin hasn't been mentioned. That place is special. So sexually open. They have so many fetish clubs. Being into Techno helps though.

As small cities go I'd agree, plenty of pubs and quintessentially English, plus the 3 spires of the cathedral and the home of the dictionary
