Might get me one... can you set it for your ideal weight? No a Flex - just contact them online and they'll run through the troubleshooting with you and if it doesn't work they'll replace it. It's finally synced to the phone after a reboot but won't sync to the computer whatever we do. But, i discovered if it syncs to the phone and information sharing is left allowed then all the data is on the cloud anyway, and I can access it from my computer. | |||

According to their weight loss thingy 500 cals dailey deficit will lose 1lb a week, 750 1.5lb and 1000 2lb. I'm going for 1000 a day 'cos I have no patience! ![]() | |||

" I love the fact that it works out what 'incidental' exercise I do eg doing the horses and going dancing - one day it was 30,000 odd steps and the equivalent of a half marathon lol!! ![]() | |||

One thing I have learnt to watch is it automatically recalculating the calories I have left in a day according to my fitbit, I work in net not gross calories expended so I don't want to mistakenly eat them back. | |||

The way I see it, I would have expended some of those calories anyway by simply thinking, breathing, etc. A couple of miles walking in 40 or so minutes apparently uses up 200+ calories. When I recalculate that based on my weight and basic metabolic rate (there's a really good net versus gross calorie calculator online) it is actually more around the 170 mark additional calories I have used. Since I'm aiming for a calorie deficit I like to know that. | |||

I need to find a way of getting my fit bit around my ankle as when I go dancing, it doesn't quite pick up my steps, as with other forms of movement that doesn't include moving your arm (walking around shop with trolley, mowing lawn) It's all a learning curve. I have to take fit bit off when I am cycling as it counts it as steps ![]() ![]() ![]() | |||
