Hi everyone,

We are seeking general opinion on a predicament that we are faced with.

We have a female friend that has for some time expressed an interest in visiting a club but would like to be accompanied for her first few visits by us.

Our issue is that H is 6 months pregnant (And clearly showing) what are peoples opinions of us socially accompanying our friend?

We only ask as we have seen a minority of females on fab who are also pregnant, but have also heard of negative views towards this.

What is peoples honest opinions?

I wouldn't have thought other people's opinions matter, helping a friend is much more important than the negative views of others you don't even know and even if you did know them I'm sure they would stick by you.

Good luck and have fun with your friend.

I agree with the above post. No one's business other than those involved. Your helping out a friend which is more important than someone's small minded opinion

I thought swinging was about being open minded? If anyone judges then its their problem not yours! Have fun x

Pregnant women should not be in clubs - they are about to shoot out a brat! Leave the swinging till one has no baby inside them

I'll just have a rummage in the shed, I think I've got some latex gloves somewhere

Do what you like and want. Maybe go to a club you haven't got to dress down in if you're worried about judgemental views. May help slightly.

Her being in clubs wouldn't offend me. Her playing with her partner wouldn't offend me. However i just think that random sex with strangers is maybe a taboo too far

Thank you for the feedback everyone,

I should clarify as H was not very clear in her explanation that we would just remain in a social lounge area clothed and drinking coffee not playing with anyone. Just to be there really and help to introduce and support a friend.

But thank you for the feedback!

I think the main issue would be most clubs are full of trip and slip hazards and dodgy stairs so be careful :p

No playing = fine

As long as not to busy and loud , wouldn't go to any type of club when pregnant tbh

Why would this be an issue? Go for it and ENJOY!

Fabswingers has a small, but very LOUD, minority who,

a. Get off on putting other people down online the best they can,

b. Are Online pretentious who will convince you that you are of the wrong moral standards / wrong opinion / wrong lifestyle and that they know better than you and are better than you.

Call me cynical.

If this is what you've planned then do so and enjoy!

But please don't let the judgmental comments on here influence you to have less of a good time if that's what you wanted or if the mood should take you on the day!

Go for it, we have seen pregnant ladies in clubs before having social evenings. Have fun and sod anyone who doesn't like it, most people won't care and will probably admire your confidence to go

I've not read all of the replies but why would you give a toss what other people think? Your friend wants to go to a club and she wants you to go with her. It's how you feel about it that matters. If you're all happy then sod anyone else!

Depends on how you friend handles negativity / comments / stares.

I was pretty emotional when I was pregnant & it wouldn't take much to make me dissolve into tears.

I think that's the main issue you need to consider as you may encounter it.

You don't have to play when you're in a club, you don't have to have sex in a club, you don't even have to have a conversation with a stranger in a club

Just do whatever you want.

Relax, enjoy the experience and have fun
