If a curse is placed upon you, how effective is it likely to be?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

"If a curse is placed upon you, how effective is it likely to be?"

Do you know it has been placed or not?

If you know then I think it will probably have more efficacy.

A curse is only affective on those who's a easily manipulated.

So dont worry

Oh unless it was an upper level demon and you live near a hell mouth

Just saying

as effective as your belief in it i reckon.

people who curse others believe in magical thinking and are more likely to believe shit like that works so feel better about doing it. just like karma.

We're social animals and so open to influence. But magik and all that, I don't really buy into it.

On a lighter note, I'm sending anyone who needs some, some of my positive live fairy dust.

It depends on how gullible you are

Most would be open to thinking luck plays a large part in life others believe strongly in fate but like curses its a way of explaining how things have happened to us in life we actually have no explanation for. I have an open mind to people who offer different views but whether I take them on or not is another thing. Just take what you can from situations and believe in what you understand if it don't make sense then take no notice xxx

Yeah but we all had shit lives though, we just generate our own luck with good deeds / high spirits. No disrespect but although I appreciate it shook you to the point you remember it 30+ years later, I reckon that may have been one of them ones where you convinced yourself and she happily played along with getting in your head.

Equally though some do have such abilities to invoke misfortune. Can't help thinking 'Kennedys'

im not saying gypsy cursed me - you dont know why i had a shit life and i certainly dont put it down to her at all - the subject was brought up and if i think about it (and i rarely do) i can recall exactly how i felt at the time and what she looked like -

"If a curse is placed upon you, how effective is it likely to be?"

If you believe it has power very effective. A good friend of mine is from an African country and she asked me if I thought the stray cat that came into her house was a witch. I believed it wasn't, she believed it was and was frightened it had cursed her.

"If a curse is placed upon you, how effective is it likely to be?"

Surely it all depends on the nature of the cures and the willing cooperation of the recipient to believe in such nonsense......

But just to be on the safe side.......

I curse everyone on this thread to live happily ever after...

Bear in mind that anyone living under any curse or bad luck belief that they've taken on board - you could also consider instigating a programme of targeted forgetting. And let it drift into nowhere, where it belongs.

And here's some more magical fairy dust being sent everyones' way. **********

(Asterisks are my closest to fairy dust icons)

I wish, but it's just fairy dust to add some sparkle to your life.

As for curses - it is bs.
