Boo - it's my first one in a fair while so I feel like I've lost my touch a wee bit.

Any random hints or tips?

Do your research about the company and what they are looking for .... be able to think creatively about an answer to a problem. Was told the practise all of my answers to a questions and write them all down like a script, whereas before I had always thought an ad lib was best. Worked for me

Keep calm and listen more than you talk.

Adapt the interviewers mannerisms and style of talking.

Ask questions about the company, the position, the present, the future and if the interviewer is to be your line manager ask a few about them.

Ask for the position what would be considered a success in 12 months time. Ask them what "good" looks like

Don't touch yerself up whilst you are having a wee, or the interviewer might take you for a pervert

Best question to close with -

Is there anything that would prevent you from hiring me after what we've discussed today? (Gives you a chance to clarify or add information, and demonstrates a bit of desire for the job).

Ruby they're only two things to remember when you interview;

1) Your totally freaking awesome

2) They would be damn lucky to have you.

Good luck lovely

Don't panic of they ask a question and you go blank.....

Tell them what an interesting question, and you will have to think about it. Pause, then answer.

If you still don't know, you can smile and reply you are not familiar with that and will ensure you include that during your induction. Cue your question about induction and how you enjoy learning new things....smile.

Don't let anything phase you. Try to relax and just be you.

Good luck sweetie

See it as an opportunity to practice for an even better series of opportunities and future interviews. This will help you be relaxed and be yourself: the interview is important but you matter more.

Enjoy answering their questions and focus on how you can add value rather than simply do things: for example, you have a history of bringing out the best in teams, rather than just like working with others.

They are nervous too!!! Ask them questions and remember that this is their chance to convince you they deserve your time and commitment!

Enjoy the experience, wear your favourite sexy (comfortable) lingerie, and leave the interview with eye contact, a thank you and a 'look forward to hearing from you soon'.

Be prepared. Take your time answering and think about the questions.

At the end when they ask if you have any questions try this-

Ask them why they like working there.

Dress smart, no overpowering perfume, I'm sure you know what to wear.

Good luck

An awful lot of things are competency based now, they will have criteria that they will be wanting to fulfil so any question that they ask you give specific examples of when you did exactly that.

Smile, relax and be friendly, you will go far with ability and a smile

My last real interview was about 15 years ago (and im still here). It was a proper interview panel, all sat looking at me. I asked them what song they wanted me to sing for my audition and told the male on the panel that if he was all Simon Cowell with his pants pulled up really high I didn't mind if he pulled out his wedgie LOL

After all the questioning I turned it around and asked them why should I want the job.

So the only advice I can offer is;

Make an entrance

Ask plenty of questions when it's your turn.

Good luck sugar, hope you smash it
