Question for the ladies

So I was reading an article in a magazine today about the menopause.I'm a lady over 40 not at menopause ( but know it's not far away) and it said that when we get to the stage of hormones changing we get changing needs. So my question is...We're u always as horny as you are now? Or is it the primal need to copulate as our bodies are telling us we need to before the time runs out??Do you feel the need for younger men? Have u had an affair with a younger man coz ur hormones have driven you wild?

I'm certainly more horny than before and happy with Mr Saturn but also happy with a younger cock

What's your thoughts??

as a 50 year old woman who has been through menopause and come out the other side relatively unscathed I would have to say my sex drive is higher now than before it started but it obviously took a hit during the process...

and I don't feel the need for younger men, just men, and women

I was 57 before I hit menopause, it was brief and relatively uneventful but your body does change and with it your tastes and desires. I have no craving for younger men or even my own youth but I could do without the moustache and chin hair

The menopause hasn't made much difference to my libido in all honesty, I have never fancied younger men so it hasn't changed that either

I'm also through the other side and can say that it's made no difference whatsoever to my sex drive. I've always preferred younger men so that hasn't changed either.

What has changed is my weight and how much harder it is to keep it down!

I'm through the other side too. My sex drive has increased and my orgasms are easier to come by.

I've read that because the vaginal wall becomes thinner it's easier to stimulate the G spot, hence the easier and multiple orgasms.

No risk of pregnancy either.

have been going through the menopause for 5 years, have always fancied very young men what is there not to like about them, looks wise. Have met a few but not too bothered if I meet anymore.

still feel horny most of the time the worst thing is the hot flushes, I cant wear jumpers and have to wear less clothing, I have cotton blankets instead of a duvet, drink lots of water when I get hot. Have dryer skin as well.

still its good not having periods which used to make me weak.

the menopause can last for about 15 years which I think is how long mine will last, Julie walters said hers lasted that long.

I seem to have been going through the menopause for almost 15 years. There are myriads of symptoms: and I've experienced every single one I think which has affected my libido, I simply can't be arsed!

I'm not sure about the correlation between aging and young men: I've never been attracted to extremes, ie young enough to be my son/old enough to be my dad.

As someone who had to have counselling and the approval of two doctors to be sterilised a week after my 31st birthday to make sure I knew what it meant, I've never worried about the passage of time...until my daughter made me a grandma!
