Turned 46 and whilst I'm enjoying fab have noticed that many many folk have their age range set to a max of 45

I'm not complaining but it does pee me off at times that for being 1 year older I can't message, should we have a +/- capability ... Daddy feels and looks younger than his age.

How does age impact on your play?

Lol my play non existent I'm 49 and a smoker so to old for most in my area and those I'm not not looking for smokers

We set age limits on here to try and narrow down some common ground and interest but in clubs it's irrelevant.

You need to accept age restrictions and preferences. Plenty of people still fall into your age bracket.

I expect if folk are interested they'll find you even if you fall outside their preferred range.

Age is obviously relative to many for all sorts of reasons.

Many have 35 as a cut off, many have 45, many have 49. Several have 50.

This year I am 51, so I lose another demographic. Perhaps there are those that say 60 for their cut off point.

You'll just have to hope that the majority set their preferences 18-99.

My age is a guide only, I do not set my filters to it, so if I like the person and they meet what I am looking for then great.

We didn't start until I was 50 so you've got plenty of time.

You need to forget about the ones that don't want to meet you for whatever reason and give your time to the people that do.

It doesn't matter how "you" look or feel its how the person whose preference it is feels, if they wanted 47 year olds they would say so.

Age doesn't impact on our play because we don't allow it to.

People who don't want a +/- facility shouldn't have one arbitrarily imposed on them, just so you can get round their filters. Filters are there for a reason.

People who do want a +/- facility can already do this. For example, my lower age-range is set at 32, but realistically, 90+% of under 38s aren't 'for me'. And the immature 32-38 year olds whinge that I won't meet them, even though they are inside my filters. Can't please anybody!

Normally people with those restrictions are much younger ,say in their 20s....try chasing women more your own age and you may not see the restrictions

I tend to contact older men, and it's normally after we start talking that I notice I'm a couple of years under their minimum age. Never been a serious problem though

I think age only becomes a barrier when that dreadful time when Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia afflict. Until then accept with use (living life ) the body will wear out but as long as the mind is you then age I'd no barrier at all!

I'm the other way round its younger guys I don't meet, I get so many messages from younger guys telling me age is but a number and how they like older women like I should just meet them because it's what they like

It matters to me too and I don't hold with this "age is just a number" either, if I'm older than your mum you won't want to introduce me to your mates.

I go on a lot of dates with 30-35 year olds who think I'm the same age. I just assume they know I'm 25 but on the second date age may pop up and they can't believe it when I tell them. I reckon if I lied on here I could get away with it and meet a lot of people who I'd love to meet now but I can't even message at the moment. But I won't do that haha because I'm sound!
