Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I try to hang on to them.

One of the best days this week was just meeting an old friend for a walk and natter. Entirely free and immense pleasure.

WELWYN GARDEN CITY

Simple things in life? Such as when my young ginger cat jumps up on to my lap and snuggles up, purring away like a good 'un?

You would have used denarii rather than groats, although the games (ludi) were free to Roman citizens.

From the age of 12 I used to work in my uncles shop at weekends. Saved up all summer and at the end of it bought a Technics separates hifi for 1400 quid. The fact I'd worked my nuts off to save up for it made me appreciate it all the more. Still have it now 32 years later.

Fabville

I enjoy driving through the forest every day. Seeing the different seasons. And If I'm really lucky, I get to see some deer.

Gives me an enormous sense of well-being.

Same here. I'm officially in the Fab slow ring, I don't rush - so much better taking time over things and enjoying the quality of life.

Nature is free too, so get with it and enjoy it.

Too much time is spent on the rat race, absurd over political correctness; and health and safety that prevents the simplest of things to be fun without the fear of being sued by some money grabbing freeloader, who should have used some common sense.

Enjoy the simplicity of everyday life. Look at what you have, don't concentrate on what you do not.

Life is good.

I still get pocket money

And it's only half as much as Mrs ddc, and not very much, so no, one learns to still appreciate life's simple (and free) pleasures.

Mr ddc
