on the road to nowhere in particular

The past 24 hours or so has been quite a harrowing experience for me. I haven't really had the chance to talk about this and I'm not really sure how to and more importantly if I really should.

There is no easy way to put this. It has been brought home to me that I must change.

No more sugar or carbs for a while, just veg and protein.

I am already dreaming of picnic bars, Galaxy and lemonade.

My head is spinning with weird menus containing exotic vegetables, smoked bacon and Greek yoghurt.

From now on my life will revolve around steak salads and spinach smoothies.

At least I can still have a kebab......

But without the pitta

The longer you go without sugar, the more sensitive you become to it. Which is a good thing btw. Also you're not spiking your insulin levels as much, which will reduce cravings.

Lots of people have carb-based breakfasts, which spikes and crashes their insulin levels and they're starving before noon arrives.

Low carb is one of the easiest lifestyle changes to make. Take away the carbs and the cravings disappear. I'm 9 years down the line and it's totally normal for me.
