Just got back from a wake, and I must say the amount of bitching that goes on about the deceased is awful! Nothing obvious or out loud, mainly just sly little comments coming out of pursed lips. Why do people turn up if they've got nothing nice to say? My mumma always told me not to speak ill of the dead...

Ive had this all day at work. So i told my colleague to shut up bitching. If you have a problem with someone tell someone who cares. If you have a problem with their professionalism report them Dont keep bitching to me cos I dont care and got work to do! sorry rant over. But to do that about a dead person at their wake is just bad and ill mannered and purely disrespectful.

Depends who died?

I'm sure at a saintly loved person then no.

But at hitlers funeral am sure there was a few choice word's.

Why lie just because someone is dead? If I didn't like them when they were alive, I'm not changing my mind because they are no more.

Sometimes people attend funerals out of respect for the relatives left behind

Sorry to hear about your day

but yeah I completely agree I wish people would speak up!! Instead of all the pyssyfooting around. I just feel sorry for the guy's family who probably caught wind of it. Let people grieve in peace
