I guess because regardless of interest people are people and it's natural to judge. Not saying it's right but it's what people do. Sadly.

Brighton - even Hove!

I judge people on how they look, how they interact in the forum, on their profile and in their messages. I don't see how wake I can decide who or not to meet. I don't meet anyone. I need some form of attraction which doesn't necessarily have to be physical.

The Town by The Cross

'Judge' and 'Rude'

These are now the two 'Go To' words that people like to accuse others of.

They think this makes themselves the victim and gives them the moral high ground.

Have a good read at the forums. The type of person above asks a question - gets a perfectly civil answer - then go off on the deep end accusing others of being rude and judgemental.

Generally they have nothing else to say and no reasonable comment to make.

Buzz words.

I do think we all judge to a greater or lesser extent.

But some people are so insecure that they make very vocal, negative judgements on people just to make them feel better about themselves. You're best off simply learning to skip over those posts. Life's too short

Its human nature to make judgements about things and people. I do it all the time both consciously and unconsciously.

I judge someone if I want to have sex with them. I make that judgement based on a lot of things.

So yes I judge.

I think some people are never going to be happy on here unless it becomes compulsory to fuck everybody.

Pao do you judge who you're attracted to before you contact them for a meet or do you just shag anyone?

Human nature to judge, it happens on many level consciously or unconsciously you yourself passed judgement not once but twice in the OP of this thread alone

I hate the word "judge" used in the context expressed by the OP.

Everyone's moral values are as individual as they are and generally based on someone's life experiences and what society dictates, and is therefore often instilled (often, not always).

Live and let live - if I don't share someone's ethos or point of view I won't argue they're wrong and I'm right because my own morals, views and standards have changed so much over the years through my own experiences and education.

Whether on here or in real life, I take people as I find them. Obviously it's easier to judge someone from a distance rather than interact with them directly initially, but having said that there are some people who have swayed my mind after talking to them in depth on certain subjects.

Firstly, calling it at sex site will not get you far

Secondly, I only judge those who pretend to be someone else or are on here to cheat.

At the risk of sounding like I'm re-writing OP's post, obviousley we all judge people all the time.

However, having made that judgement, there are a hell of a lot of people on this site who then feel the need to pass that judgement in and to condemn others.

Judging is one thing and can't be helped, like it or not.

Condemning others is something else's entirely and I have been amazed at the extent of it that happens on what I would have expected to be a very liberal site.

I don't think the fab forum represent the swinging scene especially well. A lot of people, by their own admission, are not even swingers and just use it as a sex site. It's also free which brings in the occasional riff raff with it. In our experience you'll find the average couple at a club to be more liberal than the average forum member.

I try not to let others views of my behaviour affect me. Not always easy.

Why should somebody's opinion matter so much?

Posting judgemental comments are their way of boosting their self esteem..

It empowers them to pass crassness onto one with (in their eyes) somebody outside their accepted norm.

If we were asked to get into a car with a stranger who had a clearly visible axe on his lap, wore a balaclava and looked really dodgy would it be ok to judge and say no?
