Left work last night and only got 500 yards before I got a puncture, so, instead of calling for help, I decided to walk the whole 14 miles home, not one of my best decisions but thought I'd walk it out of curiousity to see how long it would take, 2 hours 45 minutes.

Feet are a bit sore this morning though

14 miles in 2.75 hours equates to circa 5 miles per hour average speed- thats into jogging territory!

is it? Guess I'm a fast walker, well puncture fixed, although my continental gator skin tyre did have a v gash in it? So much puncture resistant, fingers crossed I make it back to work this morning, can anyone recommend a more reliable tyre, my bike is a hybrid, and used for commuting only, wheel 700c 25.

That's good going

Out grandparents would have said - they walked that twice a day, only to earn 1 shilling a day after having eaten one slice of Hovis.
