Kodi vs firestick

I am trying really hard to get used to my kodi Android box but I'm really struggling to find streams that work.

A friend has a firestick, and it seems to work with no problem. Is it that I'm just rubbish at knowing how to use it or is it that the fire stick is much easier. I have followed JamesMoore 85 tutorials on YouTube to set it up as he came highly recommended. Can anyone offer me any advice?

What build does your box have?

I have The Beast build on my Firestick and it works perfectly.

I use wookie on my kodi and from time to time have to re load it.

Bit of a pain but if you go on the kodi forums they will tell you the latest ones to download

latest build for kodi is Jarvis...so you may have to fresh start, which is simple enough....plenty of tutorials on youtube..

I have had the beast, hyper tt and now using ares wizard which is performing fine, plenty of streams that work.

Try installing tvaddons build look on YouTube for how to do it I could tell you but it would be rather long winded. on there you can pick and choose what you want to load on and watch hope this helps

Yes I use that with the fusion build and it works fine...try to use links that have "gvideo" they are normally very good.

I had same problem until I was told to install paradox(plenty of tutorials if Googled)and everything is 100% better. Better picture quality, sound quality and plenty of choice.

Thank you so much everyone. We have just installed wookie build and are just getting used to it. We haven't found all the streams we want but it does look a lot better than what we had an hour ago

It seems to have films that forecast well into the future as well like Avatar 4 in 2022 or something. What is that all about obviously they don't play?

I'm using Jarvis. I had an android box and also had a few difficulties, so went back to the stick and jarvis.

We've always stuck to the googlechromecast and streamed from our tablet. All sky tv channels movies etc

Plus we have apps for movies and box sets. Always a winner. Saved us a fortune on sky bills
