Personally I would say just move on as there are genuine people on here that do meet . Also look at the number of threads from guys who say they can't even get to chat with anyone so your at least one step further on it that helps lol

Just look to see if they've had any meets. We get quite a few messages from couples who have been members for more than three months and never even met on a social. We tend to ignore the message. We don't mind a chat over the Internet but we are here to actually meet up even if it's only for a drink or a bit more in a club.

I'm with you OP, there's an increasing number of bizarre women on here - messaging me first, proceeding to whatsapp then blocking me saying "it's me not you" ...its like being in the school playground again. Totally bizarre. I know women complain about time wasters but us men get it just as bad

People use the site in different ways though... I tend to talk to someone for quite a bit til we get to meet - the longest having been four months. Works for me, works for the people I meet, it's nobody else's business how anyone else uses the site.

I've seen a few profiles where the members say they are just here to chat or use the forum, or they state they are not currently meeting. They are nice and upfront and you know where you stand from the outset. If the would be chatters were to do that it would make life so much easier.

some men have taken me out pn 'dates', even holding hands and that while out coz they like that kind of thing. it's rare that anyone sees me as anything more than a living flesh light but some guys do.

also the amount of married men who can't be seen in public with another woman reduces the amount likely to take you out but it happens.

I'm sure there are plenty of time wasters on here but I would also imagine it's quite a scary thing for a single woman to meet up with a stranger for NSA sex, it's a vulnerable position to put yourself in for both parties if you aren't meeting in a safe club or party environment. I can't say I'm surprised a lot get cold feet or want to meet somewhere public first.

It's nothing to do with manners, take a look at the site FAQs, all the answers are there.

As for meeting? Yes, lots do. I've never arranged to have a meet and they've not turned up. The answer to that is to look at your selection criteria, I often find the faster they move to sex talk, the less likely they are to meet. I also need to have a connection with people I meet too. Try arranging a social, that usually s out the time wasters

Well, if they have recent veris then maybe it is something you are doing - no-one knows when they start to chat if you're going to click and maybe you are putting them off somehow?

I'll give you one hint for instance - do NOT get sexual until a lady has indicated she has made some kind of decision about fancying you. I talk to people all the time because based on their pics I MIGHT fancy them, but it is not a given.

Men don't seem to get this - women desire men partly based on the interaction between them - think of it like 50% exam and 50% course work!!

I agree with your initial comments regarding all it requires is a no thank you. The issue you have being a male on something like this is the fact that there are so many guys you're competing against.(some) women start to buy into their own hype and act too hot for you. Experience has taught me that if you bump into someone at a party/club,that has ignored you on here, the scenario often changes

Perhaps some of these people are actually males posing as females. Perhaps some of them are females who are winding you up as they don't like the tone/inference of what's in your profile text. If the common denominator in all of these exchanges is you then perhaps you need to look at what you're doing to put all these people off? Just a few thoughts

Maybe you could put in your profile more details about expectations, for example, really thin model like super women get a slap up meal in a Michelin starred gaff (with the added bonus you know they'll be eating a green salad) then downgrade depending on looks to a burger van in an industrial estate car park on a 50:50 basis.
