Some people do find it very rude not to reply. It must be quite demoralising to send messages and get nothing back the majority of times. Most of us have profiles set up with only certain filters on so receiving messages shouldn't be a surprise and while I admit we don't respond to every flyer that comes through the door I don't feel that Everest or Dominoes expect it.

We don't respond to certain messages and say so on our profile but the frustration expressed by some is understandable in my opinion.

I agree and all decent messages with effort get a reply from me. 9/10 have no effort though and get deleted. That's the reality of messages to girls and why I tell single guys it's REALLY easy to stand out on this site.

I think in some cases it's a Catch 22 situation with men's messages receiving no response and them thinking they won't bother with more than one line in future. I do agree though about no effort, messages telling you they love precisely the thing you say in your profile you don't are unlikely to get answered by us.

Its the people that send you an abusive message, sometimes literally minutes after you've read their first message, banging on about how rude it is to not reply, blah blah, you have no manners, blah blah when all you've done is not replied (yet) that make me smile. Banging on about manners in an aggressive and abusive way whilst showing none themselves, oh the irony!

Being in probably the worst age range, and have a partner (who I met on fab and still has her single profile) I am happy to get any replies from messages, if I am very lucky i get maybe one in 30 replied to, is it rude of them hell no, I do always send what I think is a reasonable message, always tailored to there profile or status, always with a face pic,
