We get messages from people without profile pictures even though we say no face pic = no reply

I have had a message before now, nearly midnight. 'Can you get a taxi and come over to mine, I've had a drink, so can't drive'. No photo, one liner profile...............

I did have a theory that if I messaged a woman with no pics I would be more likely to get a reply on account of the theory that going in blind might put other men off. The theory didn't work. Ho hum.

Having been here nearly 10 yrs, I can't say that I've noticed an increase in the amount of silhouette avatars. In fact with more people owning a half decent smart phone, it may actually be the other way round as it becomes easier to upload a pic

It might be but theres loads of random silhouette profiles popping up round me
