"Pic collectors"

Every time I see someone complain about pic collectors, I imagine a very dodgy looking guy in unwashed underwear, but otherwise naked, sat in a basement surrounded by photos he's printed off.

I mean really? There's actual real live porn on the Internet. Who would want to collect photos from here?

I don't quite understand the concept.

I think it's just a term people use for those types that manoeuvre themselves onto peoples friends list and then you don't hear from them ever again. They must have been just trying to see the friend pics out of curiosity and then bugger off. Or they didn't like what they saw.

Saying that, I like collecting pictures of pictures. I have some excellent pictures of lighographs, but alas, they don't count.
