Just wanting to know women's opinions on muscles. I'm not exactly what you call big, just muscular thighs cause I do a lot of walking and naturally bulky arms, but I do have a bit of a chubby tummy and in all honesty, a bit of a bubble butt. I would love to have the muscular physique but can never really find the motivation to go to the gym. What do you ladies think I could do to help motivate myself?

I must confess I'm a great fan of a muscular body - but it's just part of the package - not the package in itself! A good looking guy with a generally good body and great personality will win over someone who just has the muscles! Xx

The muscles is more for me than anyone else due to very low confidence. Its a reason why I have no body photos up. I don't wish to have the body builder physique, but more of the slight pecs, six pack and big arms that go alongside my big thighs :')

I am skinny. My pictures show this. It is the way I am built and I have tried in times past to change this. Nothing worked (and trust me eating 6000 calories a day fair killed me).

I accept who I am now. I put that which I am on my profile; if people don't like, they don't message. The one good thing about presenting myself from all angles and not messaging first is that my confidence has grown. People now message me because they want to meet me; the whole package with no unknowns.

Since doing this I have been more confident and happy; and my "fabtime" has improved dramatically.

I love muscular thighs! And while I do appreciate muscles and the effort they take to maintain, guys with the full washboard abs etc always make me feel a bit guilty and self conscious. The physique is only one part of the package. I go to the gym for me, makes me feel comfortable in my skin. Don't rely on us lot to make you feel good x T

For me the six pack isn't necessary, I like well built guys, strong thighs and shoulders and if they have a bit of padding it's ok with me, and bubble buts on men are quite lovely in the right jeans

I wear 36" waist despite being a 34" cause I can't get them around my bum :') and you should see me in cosplay (I'm a geek, i know) tight spandex suits :P

I'm not into big muscles myself, anything ranging from long and lean to buff is awesome but not body builder big. Brock O'Hurn build or less for me

Going back to what you could do to motivate yourself...find something sporty that you love to do, if it's a chore you will find enough motivation to stick with it, and ultimately be happy with yourself, you're awesome no matter what shape

Even though I train 5 days a week I cannot bulk up , metabilism is like the fucking Tasmanian devil and just won't let me put mass on despite eating all the right foods . Come to terms with it , not the end of the world .

I have a big belly but all to all i have a lot of muscle legs arse arms shoulders top of my back but most of the women see my belly and lets just say 9/10 is a nasty remark the job i do i need to be strong who else can say they can throw a quaters beef over there shoulder and walk about 30 yards like it was a sack of potatoes lol thats about the biggest my ego gets

Would love to be toned and buff but have to make the most of what we've got admire the guys who do the healthy eating and spend hrs in the gym but not something I could do or have time to spend doing for me I walk about 5 to 6 miles a day at work so toned legs just few wobbly bits around mid riff

Sadly Sbaybay is right, even the personal trainers at the gym say unless the diet is right you won't get the results you want, and diet is a big part of it.

I've just got myself a Fitbit, I'm horribly competitive with myself and anything that gives me a figure to beat is motivation for me.

I like muscular guys; big arms, strong thighs, big chest and broad shoulders. But, because I'm a contrary little madam, I like this pretty package to come with a brain, a sense of humour and a filthy glint in the eye.

It's the wit and charm that will hold my attention a lot more effectively than the next pretty peacock to strut by.

I know you were asking for ladies opinion but, there are plenty of motivational videos you can listen to on YouTube that should help. I usually play a 1 hour compilation and get on with a task which I find boring or miserable. I also play them at the gym to get that extra mile or repetition out of me.

No I think my analogy was better, confidence is self belief, but not in a way which is demeaning to others, which fits with my first statement, lets google it and see another definition...

'the feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on someone or something'

...well that's better than my example, but still, it doesn't contradict it.

Work on gaining the confidence to be happy with who you are. And not worried about what you think other people want. Other people may have better bodies, but who wants to talk about how much protein they should be eating, or reps vs big weights yarder yarder yarder, why am i so single... Have fun, everything in moderation, you won't go far wrong. If you want to impress other men who go to the gym, go to the gym, if you want to impress women, dont be a prick.

Finally. You might see someone with a nice body in their photos have more women openly flirt with them. You should remember this is just a thrill of a flirt with something visually pleasing for the women. These guys wont get laid before anyone else, just cause of their six pack, so don't think that a six pack gets you pussy on tap.
