Near Edinburgh..

We Quite into our Smoking Foods and Sometimes other stuff eh lol..

But When Our Neighbours See us Lighting the Drum Smoker/BBQ at about 9am for a 8hr Smoking Session..

They Don't Like Us Anymore..

Anyone else into Smoking Foods and Smelly BBqs.. And Probably Pissing the Neighbours off

When I worked on my first fish farm, we also had a smokery. We'd do trout, salmon and eels for sale (hot and cold smoked), but plenty of smoking stuff for ourselves went on - my boss let me use the kiln when it wasn't needed for work. I cure a mean bacon, and smoked turkey is surprisingly good.

Sometimes we don't light the barbecue until 1.30 am.

The neighbours don't mind,they're usually with us.

The only time i get annoyed with bbq's is if we have washing on the line, and you whiff the bbq going on...have to take the clothes in otherwise you have to wash them again.

Bbq's are funny things...hey today is the hottest day of the year, i think I'll stand in front of something even hotter lol

I liked smoked foods.

We had barbecue for dinner this evening but we don't smoke any foods (a friend does it instead ).

Mesquite, oak, apple, in my opinion are the best hardwoods for smoking
