I'd say depends where abouts you live in Milton Keynes aye!!

My ares I'd say 11am and 6pm if we are talking a Sunday x

I would say anything after 7pm as i would consider that a time when a lot of children start going to bed. Anyone who does anything noisy before 10am at the weekend makes me tut as Sunday's are the only day i don't have to get up early.

I wouldn't do it before 9am and much past 6pm unless there was an emergency - I've no clue what - and neighbours were ok with it

"What's the latest and earliest times you can mow a lawn without annoying people?"

In Devon.. whenever. In MK. 8am and 9pm unless they have germ ridden puss monkies; in which case you will have to defer and ask those with said children how to live your life in a way that makes them happy, or be the scorned of the village fete for a generation.

I'm the one with two kids, lying in bed asking why someone is mowing the lawn at bedtime. Luckily they don't seem too bothered by it (my kid used to physically shake and be terrified by the sound when he was younger so I'm glad he's ok now!).

It's not too bad. Just wondering as it seems late?

And our gardens are all tiny, so either they are going over the same patch again and again or they are taking an awfully long time doing it.

Just called respect to the neighbours in my area as quite a few do like a lay in on a Sunday morning

Those village fetes are rubbish anyway. Don't go, and get the local pub beer garden to yourself instead.

I've mown mine for the first time this evening. Finished at 7.30pm. No one with really small kids around me so shouldn't have annoyed them too much.

Strangely that happens when I go down the pub anyway... I don't understand it, or the eggs thrown at my windows, my tyres being slashed ; I genuinely thought that running around the village square naked with a Mexican hat on was performance art.

I'm the opposite. If anyone is up doing anything work-related after about 5am I feel guilty for being in bed, no matter what day it is....
