Hayfever I hope I have not got it

I Hope I havnt got it. As i dont normally get it. I havnt a cold but my eyes are yes feel iratated an im sneezing

anyone else suffer from Hayfever

I've had hayfever and mild asthma all my life, hayfever usually for a couple of months, asthma just needing the inhaler every 4 hours or so, nothing serious.

Then, for some unknown reason, I woke up one morning, reached for the inhaler and realised I didn't actually need it right then. It was evening before I realised I hadn't needed it all day and then each day went by without needing it. A month later, I needed it, then 6 weeks after that. I now go 2 months between each ventolin dose and the only possible reason I can contribute it to is losing weight (deliberately) over the course of a few months beforehand. It was mainly portion control, little exercise and I wasn't that overweight to start with.

So, asthma can clear up, I am pleased to say.

I have ventolin and a powder inhaler that I take twice a day, I only take ventolin if I need an extra puff to clear my chest there and then

I suffer terribly from it but it varies hugely day by day.

I've only had 3 days I've struggled with what I imagine to be hay fever so far this year.

poor you ive hayfever all right i feel like pulling up all flowers up where i live lol dam neighbours with their flowers an grass

Maybe for some, but not for everyone.

I have been suffering since I was 4 years old, just about 40 years

Glad you don't need the ventolin any longer though

Symbicort by any chance?

What dose are you taking? I have just been reduced from the 400/60 to the 200/120 after a year of overdosing myself silly with it!

hi all. i have had hay fever and asthma since i was about 4. asthma not bad, only get couple attacks a year in normally very hot weather and always at night. hay fever get all year round, i have found out a lot of perfumes / deodorants can set me off. which can be big problem. not fun if get bad hay fever attack when meeting.

Thanks, I was hoping the frequent migraines would stop at 40, which is when they stopped for my mother. Asthma over migraines any day please!

It's tree pollen at the moment, apparently.

yep!! pain in the ass as some days its not worth wearing make up due to the nose blowing and eye rubbing grrrr

also i feel all scrotty and scruffy when my head is itchy. i get a weird itch right in the middle of my head that i cant reach. i try rubbing my tongue against the roof of my mouth to get it sometimes but it doesnt work

Had it every year since I was 7, at first it feels like a cold as in lethargic. Then the sneezing and itchy eyes, I can only say try to avoid rubbing your eyes
