ok, what is wrong with people making the wrong gendered profiles, i was talking to some on skype after getting a message from a woman on here. later on down the convo i find out the person wasn't female but was a male. i had thought it was a real female at first, hell she sent me a picture of her and i verified it and found it was real, asked if was her, she said yes, but then later on said she was a guy and that she was sorry? why do people lead someone on like that?

Report the profile if it's fake with fake photos etc

Why veri someone you haven't actually met?

Am I missing something here? Surely that's the whole point of a verification?

i verify pictures i get sent on skype, some people take pictures from websites to prove their female and what not. and i only verified that photo because i wasn't sure if it was who she said it was, hell if it didn't pop up with a couple of links i wouldn't of said anything and continued thinking he was female

Just a thought, but verifying people you've never met undermines the verification process.

Week in week out people moan about fake profiles.

Don't increase the problem by verifying people you've never met.

ok let me clarify, i was messaged on here by what i thought was a woman wanting to speak on skype, she sent me a picture of what she looked like, i took that PICTURE and verified it by using google to see if it was taken from someone else, i thought it was her at first until she told me she was really a guy

Don't verify unless you've actually met the person so that situations like this doesn't happen.....no ifs ands or buts about it.....simplz

He did a Google image search to check/verify the photo.
