Had the above treatment today. Anyone else had it and did it work for you?

Googling explains it so much better than me Shaz but basically they pump foam into the affected vein then constrict it with tight dressing for a few days then a compression stocking for a few weeks until the vein withers up and dies.

None invasive and mine was over in 20 mins. So much better than surgery. However I found out from my consultant today that it's no longer on offer exept in extreme circumstances because of cutbacks. I got in in the nick of time!
