Arranged meets

If you have arranged a meet with someone, confirmed time, date etc and it's been arranged a few days. Then you see they have put up a meets request for the same evening and out the same time they have agreed to meet you, would you feel pissed off. Because I do, to me it looks like they are looking for a better offer and if they don't get one then I will do.

Had the exact same thing happen to me. Reported and blocked.

If you don't want to meet just have the balls to say no thanks.

If the meet was pre posted before you arranged then they may have forgotten to remove it. People often post meet mes days and weeks in advance.

But if it's new then block them and wish them good luck

You reported someone for wanting another offer? Hilarious.

As long as they let you know well in advance they won't be meeting you,I don't see the problem.

Not had this happen but id just message them and say oh see your looking for something else the night we are supposed to be meeting hope you find it take care and just leave it.

Now we all have a back up plan incase we get stood up but if your advertising a meet the same night and get someone there going to have to let someone down and im not going to give them the chance to be letting me down

Depends if they stuck the meet requests up before they arranged or after really.

The meet must be new as he put on his status looking to meet eay this morning but messaged me confirming time early this morning to. I have just sent a polite message saying to continue looking for a meet tonight as I don't like being second best. a

Just where I need to be.

Maybe they are putting a meet up as a back up plan. They are covering all bases as you may cancel between now and the meet. If it really pisses you off ask them, there may be a plausible reason.

Probably the only night he can get away from his wife, so going for a backup in case you don't turn up, or something "better" comes along .

Tell him to shove it....

Was reported for arranging a meet and not turning up at said time and place. Plus he too put up another looking to meet that very afternoon.

You need to ask him what's he's doing. There's enough choice on here if he feels he needs to get a backup then I would delete him and look elsewhere.

see i dont think its wrong he wants a plan b incase he gets let down but making it obvious and the way hes done it.

I always have a plan b if im going out my way for a meet so that i dont have a wasted time

Plan b or hoping someone better comes along. I'm not sure what I would do to be honest. Maybe say nothing and see if he bails and puts up a new verification; in which case I'd probably not bother talking any more. I might send a jokey message asking if he's hoping for someone better or to join us. Or I might fuck him off; it would depend on my mood and how much I fancied him.

No that's fine if it is a plan b and not a 'let see who's the best on the day then I can stuff the other who I've made plans with' kinda mentality. What do you say to the person that may be your plan b though?

This is why I like being a site supporter. You can see "where" your meet is. I only ever arrange meets in my vicinity n i check where they are before I set off. If they are not with in a mile I ain't leaving my flat. Likewise with inviting meets here. Xxx

I'd be well and truly hacked off - unless they were looking for a couple, or another female to join us....

In truth I'd contact them and ask them to confirm our meet, expecting the replies to my messages to cease

Just for the record, if I'm lucky enough to get a meet I will be there!

Quickly make yourself a second orofile:

Use that to arrange a meet with him on his meet request;

Then the possibilities are endless;

You can blow him out on both;

Or ask why he has agreed to meet " your freind" or ......

I did have this happen to me once, day and time arranged only to see a meet for the same day and time go up a few days before. I messaged and queried, it took a day before I got a reply, which was that she had changed her mind and wanted some group fun. I did feel that it should have been mentioned to me before posting a meet. I was still invited and I did go, I now wonder if it was because it would have been our first meet, I had a bit of travelling to do and they were worried I wouldn't turn up. Covering all bases really.

Ok let's just for a second say he's arranging meet same date and time so he has a back up if op never turned up.....

Great idea if he has a no show but what happens when op turns up as agreed ?? A last minute text to the back up saying oh sorry can't make it ...hardly fair on that individual then is it .

If someone thinks they have to organise another meet when they've arrange meet with me then either they think I'm a lier and not going to turn up or they are seeing what's the best offer they actually get ..both case not then someone I'm going to want to meet.

Hope you find a better person than him op. X

Some people post 2 or 3 meet requests per day, so they possibly forgot they have them. If the people seemed genuine I'd just bring it to their attention and ask for clarification.

Until we have a personal calendar in Fab where we confirm meets with each other, making no shows etc easy to trace, the site isn't blocking or highlighting people who may be making mistakes etc.
